Keep it simple 30 day challenge

What about instead of wishing for something to change or wanting something to change.

 

You did something to make it happen.

 

Here's how to make one small change each day for 30 days?

 

When we decide to make changes to our lifestyle for improved health and well-being.

What is the first thing we do? We get caught up in our heads thinking of everything we need to change.

 

WE START TO TAKE ON TOO MUCH AT ONCE.

 

We end up half doing too many things, which in turn stops our motivation to keep going. Resulting in a seed being planted in our head knocking our confidence.

 

‘you tried that, that doesn’t work, what’s the point’.

 

Then another month passes by.

 

This sound familiar..............

 

How about using the next month to change one thing???

The key is not to take on too much at first, choose one area of your life you want to make changes and give yourself just one challenge over 30 days. Only changing one habit or starting a new one.

 

Challenges are great for establishing new habits and boosting your since of achievement. They don’t have to be too drastic - just choose a simple goal and turn it into a 30-day adventure.

 

To start, try 1 of these examples:

 

 

  • Find 1 thing to be grateful for each day and write it in a journal.

  • Learn something new every day and write it down.


  • One mindful/conscious breath each day.

  • Bring your awareness to an unhelpful thought and choose not to listen to it.

  • Don’t complain about anything for 30 days.


  • Exercise at least 10 minutes a day every day.

  • Write down at least one happy moment or one positive thought per day.

  • Go for a short walk every day for 30 days.

  • Walk on grass bare foot each morning for 30 days.

  • Do something nice for someone every day.

  • Don’t buy anything new for a month.

  • Prepare and eat 1 healthy meal for 30 days.

  • Drink a glass of lemon water first thing each day.

 

By the time you complete a challenge, you’ll be on your way to replace the old habits that didn’t serve you well. You will have a since of accomplishment. You will feel proud of yourself. This small change will have spread into other areas of your life.

 

Why not start straight away?

 

Write down what 1 THING you are going to do on a piece of paper, put it somewhere you can see it every day and tick it off or highlight it each day as you accomplish it. 

 

When you record your progress you are 90% more likely to complete what you started and be successful.
